Keaau Youth Business Center Grand Opening

The Keaau Youth Business Center had it’s Grand Opening on Saturday. Something like five bands helped kick it off. Kepono Kekuewa was there from Apple’s Hawaii HiEd and of course Moon Brown, one of the creators of the program was there -playing saxophone.

Funded by grant money and powered by aloha, the Keaau Youth Business Center is a great place for kids to pick up digital and culinary arts that otherwise might not be able to. This is will be a real jump start for many and I’ve already heard some pretty exciting success stories from the program.

Look for more soon from these folks. They’re making it happen in the Big Island of Hawaii digital design, video and culinary arts scene. Sorry I didn’t get everyone’s name but I’ll be back to learn more and meet more of the folks that are behind the magic.
